Another adventure to a place we’ve been before … but 23 years later. We started off from Switzerland to Cherbourg where we enjoyed Irish Ferries sailing us to Rosslare from where we headed west, stopped here and there to visit historic and archaeological sites all along Irelands wild atlantic coast. We also spent some time in northern Ireland before returning to Dublin where we stayed two days visiting Trinity College, the Guinness brewery, Pubs and relaxed from the wild rides. Finally we traveled through the Wicklow mountains to Kilkenny and returned to Rosslare. A fantastic time machine journey taking us from megalith cultures through the Celts, christian reformation to the ages of castles and knights to modern Ireland.
